4/5/2017 Sports Wrap-Up


Baseball

All three OHC Baseball games were postponed due to last nights storms. All games are being rescheduled, and schedules will be update on the OHC Website.

Softball

Southeastern defeated the Springfield High Wildcats 3-0 in a 6-inning complete game. The game was called after 6 innings due to lightning. Maddy McKee led the way for the Trojans going 2 for 3 with two doubles, and Freshman standout Avery Shepherd had another strong performance going 2 for 3 with a double and a homerun. The Trojans are now 7-0 and 4-0 in the OHC.

Mechanicsburg and Fairbanks were all tied up at 3-3 in the top of the 5th inning when the storms postponed the game. The game will be finished on April 25th when the two teams are scheduled to play their second game.

Triad defeated the Troy Trojans 5-4 in a 5-inning complete game. The game was called after 5 innings due to lightning. The Cardinals were led by Abby Ehrenborg, who went 2 for 3 from the plate with a homerun and two RBI's. She got some help from Ali Dixon and Madison Dolby, who each went 2 for 3 as well. The Cardinals are now 3-4 and 2-1 in the OHC.
