Baseball
Wes Earles throws Southeastern's 2nd no-hitter of the season, as the Trojans defeated Mechanicsburg 4-0 to remain at the top of the OHC South Division.
West Liberty-Salem was able to get out to an early lead in this one, and never looked back. The Tigers collected 15 hits in the game. Chase Humphrey went 6 2/3 innings, struck out 7, walked 4 and gave up 2 runs for West Liberty, as the Tigers defeated Catholic Central 7-2.
Fairbanks defeated Worthington Christian 1-0 in a defensive battle, and remain in 2nd place in the OHC North, just 1.5 games behind Triad.
Greeneview gets their first win of the season, topping Cedarville 3-2.
Softball
Southeastern stays perfect on the season, defeating visiting Mechanicsburg 3-1. Leslie Flores led the Trojans with two hits on the night, and Maddy McKee it a 2-run homer to seal the victory. Mechanicsburg was led by Kacey Schipfer, who went 2-3 from the plate. Francys King (2-3, 1 RBI) and Meagan Hux (1-1) also chipped in to keep the Indians close in this one.
In non-league action, Triad faced off with Springfield High and came out on top 5-0. Collier was solid in this one, pitching a 6-hit shutout for the Cardinals. Abby Ehrenborg had another strong performance at the plate, going 2-2 with a double.
Northeastern made it a short night, defeating Yellow Springs 25-2 in non-league action.
Greeneview defeats Cedarville 13-3 to move into 3rd place in the OHC South.
